UFF coat into two-piece

went to UFF a few weeks ago, it’s a second hand store here in Finland. i found SO many cute things and i just couldn’t fit them all with me on my bike so i just had to pick and choose what i would take. i left this coat there because i wasn’t sure about it in the first place. you know that feeling where you thought you didnt need something and it

c o n s t a n t l y pops into your mind …yeah <3

that was me. so i asked one of my friends to go get it for me and she gave it to me the next day. i had already decided i would alter it in some way and so i did. the process was much harder than i expected it to be and it’s still not quite finished.

i thought, I THOUGHT my sewing machine would be able to get through the thickkk fabric but no, it definitely lost that fight real quick. so i sewed the entire skirt piece by piece by hand<3 and let me tell you it took me a few hours. what i still have to do is sew belt loops onto the skirt because it’s still a bit big on me but i just can’t be bothered to alter it again. maybe another day.
